I’m Tara, a dancer, movement guide, and embodiment facilitator whose work is rooted in my own healing journey through movement. I trained in classical ballet for 15 years in the Middle East, explored ballroom dance, began my contemporary journey in Montreal, earned a contemporary dance degree from Broadway Dance Center in NYC, and am a certified Mana Movement Guide.
In my ongoing exploration of movement alchemy across different countries, I’ve come to understand that dance can be more than performance; it can be medicine. Through my movement practice and personal experimentation, I discovered how the body holds stories beyond the mind, and how movement can release tension, unlock emotion, and create inner space. This inspired me to integrate somatic approaches into dance, focusing on sensation, inner listening, and movement arising from within rather than perfection.
I now create spaces where people can reconnect with their bodies, release what’s been stored, and reclaim the sensual, expressive, and sacred parts of themselves, free from shame, judgement, or racing thoughts. Through intuitive movement, somatic awareness, rhythm, and breath, I guide others to remember that the body isn’t something to fix, but something to feel, honor, and come home to.
