Andrew Petrulis is a dedicated movement specialist and owner of Primal Path, a personal training and wellness facility in East Haddam, Connecticut, where he has built a thriving community focused on pain-free movement, longevity, and vitality for over a decade. His remarkable journey began as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician in the military, where he disarmed bombs in high-stakes environments across the Middle East. The intense physical and mental demands of this role led him to seek healing through movement disciplines and Eastern medicine, sparking a lifelong passion for reconnecting people with their bodies.
Over more than 22 years, Andrew has immersed himself in diverse movement practices around the globe, spending over 5 years living and studying in Asia—including South Korea, India, Japan, and Thailand—as well as the Middle East. This global exploration, combined with his military experience, inspired him to develop a unique, adaptable system that counters the disconnection caused by modern conveniences—helping people rebuild strength, mobility, and natural body awareness.
In 2018, he graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, deepening his expertise in therapeutic approaches to movement and wellness.
Today, through Primal Path, Andrew guides clients of all ages and levels toward movement freedom, resilience, and a stronger mind-body connection in a supportive, fun environment.
When not coaching, he enjoys playing the handpan, exploring nature with his dog Walker, and tackling home renovation projects.
